Who we are looking for:
Finance is recruiting for a Financial Controller to support the continued development and ongoing compliance with mandatory disclosures and reporting requirements, especially as per part 8 of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the EU Taxonomy Regulation.
The individual will work within the Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure Controller Team, collaborating with multiple groups to support the successful delivery of the SSEHG Group Disclosure Report in German and English.
Responsibilities
Work in the Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure Controller Team to support the quarterly update of the Disclosure Report and annual EU Taxonomy disclosures with a high focus on processing the relevant ESG data and supporting the technical implementation in the Regulatory Reporting software.

Specifically, the owner of the role supports the implementation of the ESG risk templates as per Art. 499a CRR as well as the further development of the mandatory EU Taxonomy disclosure templates for credit institutions. For this requirement, the owner will work with national and international teams to address the qualitative requirements and implement the templates within the Regulatory Reporting software. Especially in this area, the owner shall ensure alignment and consistency for contents that overlap with similar sustainability-related disclosure and reporting requirements covered by the Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure Controller Team (e.g. CSRD Report).
The Sustainability Disclosure & Reporting Specialist will also support the review of any disclosures in German and English to ensure consistency in publications. In addition, the owner of the role will also prepare updates for project meetings, steering committees and Executive Management Board meetings.
For all components, the role supports to further develop the control framework and data validation to ensure accuracy of inputs, especially for the new (sustainability-related) components.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Finance or Legal
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Financial or Regulatory Reporting, ideally in the area of EU Taxonomy and/ or Disclosure Reporting as per CRR Experience with ESG data, ideally processing for Regulatory Reporting purposes
- German (native) speaker, business fluent in English
- Knowledge of CRR and related Implementing Technical Standards
- Experience of working in a deadline driven control focused environment
- Experience in implementing regulatory requirements projects to successful completion.
