Who we are looking for
Software Developer Lead with 10+ years of experience as a software developer/engineer. The candidate will have expert-level experience as a full stack software developer, with excellent Java, and Oracle PL/SQL skills, and some UI technology, preferably React JS. Additional experience in C#/.NET is a plus. The candidate will work as part of a highly skilled development team located onshore, with additional team resources in China and India. The candidate will be a hands-on developer, and will also provide guidance to offshore team members around requirements, design, and project integration. The candidate must have experience with the FIX protocol and/or SWIFT messaging. Experience with Equities and Fixed Income order management systems is a strong plus. The candidate must be familiar with Agile development concepts.

What you will be responsible for
As Software Developer Lead you will
- Develop a close working relationship project management, business stakeholders, and offshore development teams.
- Develop server-side Java code for web development in clustered enterprise or cloud environments.
- Develop browser-based client-side code using web technologies such as React JS, Node, HTML, CSS, JSP, AJAX, JSON, etc.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Oracle database development and support using SQL, PL/SQL and ORM tools such as Hibernate.
- Understand and perform load testing of applications and infrastructure.
- Understand and be responsible for secure coding practices.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or other Physical Science.
- 10+ years of software development experience required, including at least 5 years as a team leader or manager.
- Java developer
- Oracle PL/SQL back-end
- N-tier architecture
- Some UI experience, preferably React JS
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar source/release control software
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project tracking software
- Familiarity with Agile development concepts
- C#/.NET experience a plus

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
