ServiceNow Administrator - Manager

ServiceNow Developer:

The Developer will be ultimately responsible for operating the ServiceNow platforms, configuring and upgrading existing modules and implementing new modules, and performing on-going maintenance to ensure the organization is operating the platform in the most efficient manner and taking advantage of new capabilities. Should be able to support full range of application enhancement & support services for the ServiceNow applications and its integrations. It includes developing and supporting of ITSM modules and catalogs through building & modifying the Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Workflows, Service Portal etc.

Document user and process requirements, develop workflows, implement new modules and be an integral part in utilizing the tool to further business services migration into ServiceNow. Provide support to internal development team members and users. This role will make recommendations toward the development of new applications or features and follow ITIL best practices. Perform administration and configuration tasks in the ServiceNow tool including, but not limited to, standard configuration, user administration, security, workflow, data management and integration. Analyze user requirements and develop solutions to improve system capabilities and automate process workflows. Maintain ServiceNow platform daily and assist with ServiceNow release and updates. Assist in the adoption of the platform, aiming to deliver service and process improvements, enabling enhanced credibility of SaaS Operations and enhanced value back to the business. Support both technology and business stakeholders by providing support of ServiceNow capabilities. Create and maintain system documentation and publish to knowledgebase(s). Create dashboards and custom reports as required. Perform training for business and Information Technology personnel as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong, working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Change/Incident/Problem Management, CMDB, and Knowledge, Release Management, and portal design/implementation. Ability to develop, administer CMDB, including user training and integration with other tools. Ability to create and customize complex workflows and custom workflow activities. Ability to create transform maps, data sources and different transform scripts for data loads and management. Ability to work on schedule jobs, events, and triggers to manage business needs and handle background work. Experience working with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists etc. Strong knowledge on complex UI customization and UI macros. Ability to create and modify scripts within the platform to promote automation within pages, forms, and workflows. Ability to support integration between the ITSM tool and other systems, including Salesforce Demonstrated success educating and training internal groups on new service platforms, preference given to ServiceNow experience. Strong analytical and innovation skills to study the current state of processes, identify a problem, inefficiency, or gap, analyze the cause and propose or undertake resolution actions. Proven skills of cultivating strong working relationships and working well within and across teams to share knowledge. Coordinate installation of ServiceNow upgrades and/or service packs. Develops and manages the preparation of systems, test criteria and control for upgrades, service packs, new functionality, enhancements, or error correction. Knowledge and experience with integrating internal and external applications and systems. Self-motivated, capable of driving results and able to work under pressure. Stays current with technological developments and recommends ways to take advantage of new technology. Excellent documentation and presentation skills.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) from four-year college or university; technology discipline preferred. A minimum of 5 years' demonstrated experience with implementation, development, configuration, and administration with Service Now. Proven experience working directly with internal and external clients. Recently acquired ServiceNow Certification or Re-Certification (ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist). ITIL Foundations Certification.
