Who Are We Looking For?
As Senior HR Business Partner for SSGA, you will lead a global team of experienced HR professionals across various disciplines responsible for the strategic development and execution of talent related priorities aligned with key business priorities. This includes a focus on attracting, developing, and retaining talent in alignment with strategic business objectives, delivering a world-class HR experience to our employees, and shaping our culture. In this role, you will participate as a member of State Street's Global Human Resources & Corporate Citizenship (GHR-CC) leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a global human capital strategy and execute multiple initiatives to drive business success, with a focus on attracting, retaining and developing talent and leadership, evolving and amplifying our culture, enabling manager effectiveness, and leading succession planning initiatives, and delivering a world-class employee experience
- Provide advice, coaching and counsel to SSGA's CEO and senior management, individually and as a team
- In partnership with fellow GHR-CC colleagues, play a leadership role executing on variety of talent related priorities including learning and development, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, incentives, and inclusion, diversity, equity
- Manage a cross-functional HR team of resources globally, that includes HR Business Partners and a team of HR Centers of Excellence (COE) representatives (e.g., Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Learning, Employee Relations)
- Maintain a pulse on the employee experience and monitor areas of culture, compensation, employee well-being, and identify and/or initiate programs to ensure that SSGA remains competitive
- Provide HR subject matter expertise on operating model, organizational design, and workforce planning related to business growth (organic and inorganic) Serve as highly engaged member of the SSGA Operating Group and Executive Management Group
- Serve as senior GHR representative for SSGA external client engagement activities
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience in HR strategy development, organizational development, compensation and/or talent acquisition within a large and dynamic organization.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience in the investment management industry
- Expert in setting and executing HR strategy aligned with business goals Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams and engage with stakeholders in a functionalized HR organization
- Proven communication, consulting, interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle issues with potential client, reputational and expense related impact
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with all levels of management and employees globally
- Ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment and act as a point of connection across various parts of SSGA and State Street
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field
Salary Range:
$225,000 - $337,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
