Who we are looking for:

You will be joining the BU Finance team in Krakow (Poland), which provides a wide range of complex financial and reporting services. The team gives senior stakeholders financial tools and information they need to make an effective analyzes and transparent reporting to multiple State Street Bank locations across the world help our business partners create more effective strategic solutions and act on revenue growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Support the Finance team deployed to cover the EMEA organization
  • Partner with global Business Unit Finance, FP&A leaders and Controllers to be a trusted advisor and bring financial discipline to the EMEA business
  • Support providing management with independent view of financial outlook, associated risks and opportunities
  • Identify and quantify impact of risk-mitigating action plans
  • Support preparation of analysis and commentary, and drive improvement to standard financial analytics and reporting to bring transparency to the financial statements
  • Support regulator requests on legal entity financials, scenario and ad hoc analysis

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 9 years of professional experience in Finance Reporting, Finance Accounting.
  • Financial planning and accounting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated organizational, project management and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive and showing initiative in different circumstances and under pressure.
  • Ability to deal effectively with stakeholders, in a multi-locational environment.
  • Practical knowledge of accounting databases such as Oracle preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Products (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in using VBA and/or BI Tools - TIBCO Spotfire or Power BI in creating dashboards and data profiling will be an additional advantage.
