The team is envisioned to have a mixed of intelligence technology, data science, quantitative modeling, financial engineering, and software engineering capabilities. The Senior AI/ML Software Engineer - Officer will design AI/ML platform and application software, and drive implementation and troubleshooting including but not limited to understand business requirement, write program, troubleshoot issue, and support data scientist/financial and quantitative engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for software design, coding, unit test and integration
- Implement IT framework and robust programs to run AI/ML models with excellent space and time complexity
- Support quality assurance test, user acceptance test and fix bugs
- Perform continuous integration and deployment
- Setup environment and prepare software releases
- Support production issue and maintain on-going enhancements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required in computer science or in related fields.
- Solid background in computer science including data structure, algorithm, and operating system.
- 3+ years of Java and Python programming experience, especially with pandas and flask framework
- 3+ years of cloud solutioning experience, preferably with Azure cloud or AWS
- 3+ years of experience with microservice design and development based on main-stream technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kubernetes,
- 2+ years of development experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks or PostgreSQL
- 2+ years of development experience with data warehousing/engineering and ETL/ELT tools
- 2+ years of development experience with messaging queue like Kafka
- 2+ years of experience in automation and building deployment pipelines for production and staging platform based on Azure DevOps, Github, YAML, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Maven
- 1+ year of working experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory based service principals, and managed identities
Experience in any of the following is highly desirable:
- Prior enterprise level high performance computing and/or real time system experience
- Software engineering experience in medium or large size asset management company
- Prior Azure AML, Amazon Web Service (AWS) or alike experience
- Data Science and Machine Learning Frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Apache Spark / MLlib, etc.) and AI platform such as Azure Machine Learning and AWS SageMaker)
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $125,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
