Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Quant to join our Risk Management analytics team. As an IT Quant, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining complex quantitative models and algorithms to support risk management. You will work closely with risk quants to design and implement efficient and scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Design, develop, and implement quantitative models and algorithms using programming languages like Python.
- Contribute to the development of risk management models and tools, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Technology Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to implement models and algorithms in production environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain databases, data feeds, and data pipelines to support quantitative analysis.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure models and algorithms are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of models, algorithms, and technology implementations.

Requirements:
- Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in a quantitative analytics in a banking or financial institution.
- Thorough understanding of mathematical modeling, multi-variate statistics, linear algebra and the ability to explain and justify modeling choices in qualitative terms
- Have experience building pricing and scenario models for market and credit risk function within a bank/financial organization
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, quantlib and experience with databases and data feeds.
- Quantitative Knowledge: Strong understanding of quantitative finance concepts, including risk management, derivatives, and statistical modeling.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Machine Learning: Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in finance.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
