As Retiree Services Managing Director you will be responsible for:

  • Externally and internally driving any strategic initiatives that will have a direct impact on how we will interact with the client (vendor changes, technology changes, operating model changes)
  • Maintaining operating excellence and leading continuous improvement across the operating model
  • Play a key co-ordination role overseeing teams and bringing together executive management updates
  • Govern key vendor relationships
  • Manage team across State Street and extended teams in vendor partners

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Excellent leadership, program management, negotiation, and communication (verbal and written) skills and a commitment to ensuring timely and accurate stakeholder communications
  • Must demonstrate the judgment and ability to closely partner with and advise business, vendor, and technology leaders (and other stakeholders) issues-related and audit matters
  • Ability to learn new products, services, businesses while supporting them
  • Strong analytical skills, solid judgment, and the ability to evaluate complex business issues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, including by demonstrating excellent time management and planning skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ Years in financial services or related field
  • Prior experience managing effective large teams
  • Core investment product knowledge

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
