Who we are looking for

With an immediate effect, Corporate Compliance Regulatory Liaison Team in State Street Bank International GmbH, Poland Branch is seeking to recruit an experienced Regulatory Liaison, based in Krakow, Poland. Successful candidate should have at least 10 years' experience in the financial services sector, compliance, audit or risk management, and demonstrate high personal standards, tact and diplomacy.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office (at least 2 days per week) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Regulatory Liaison, Assistant Vice President, you will:

  • Manage relations with regulators (this includes direct contact with regulatory bodies).
  • Coordinate and participate in preparation of various types of regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal management.
  • Ensure submissions are of appropriate quality, meet regulatory requirements as well as corporate goals and standards.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders such as the EMB, ERM, Internal Audit, CAO, Legal, IT etc.).
  • Work closely with Global Regulatory Liaison Office.
  • Develop and maintain respective policies and procedures to assure consistent, efficient and compliant regulatory interactions and reporting process.
  • Support 1st Line through advice, influence adjustments to the process, procedures and controls.
  • Provide effective challenge and guidance on compliance risks.
  • Perform compliance testing to determine if process or service meets regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver compliance training to new hires.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in economics, finance or related field.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the financial services sector, compliance, audit or risk management.
  • Understanding of custody and asset servicing/management business.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity and experience in analysing large data sets, and any relevant software associated with that activity, would be an advantage.
