Role Summary & Role Description
The Software Quality Assurance lead/Tester role is responsible for analyzing business and technical specifications to define & execute test cases and capture & track defects. Overall experience should be 10+ years.
Analyze business and technical specifications. Define functional and regression test cases. Create automation test scripts that provide coverage for defined test cases. Execute automation scripts and capture/save test backup documentation. Work closely and collaborate with other team members in a Kanban/Agile team environment as well as a Waterfall environment. Report and track defects/bugs. Lead the team and have the responsibitlity of the QA work. Work with global teams, including business users, architects, technical personnel, to understand business processes and system requirements. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical groups, both internal and external parties.
