What we are looking for

Charles River Development, A State Street company, is looking for an experienced program manager to lead the CRD product side of a major client onboarding initiative. The role will require engaging multiple teams internally, coordinating with supporting vendors and facing off with the client in order to manage the deliverables.

Charles River Development plays a critical role in providing front and middle office solutions to a diverse State Street client base. The successful candidate will help ensure timely delivery of development work as part of a large client onboarding project.

What you are responsible for

  • Provide leadership and oversight of all scoping analysis, solution design and management of execution work streams (initiatives) within the CRD development lifecycle from engagement through testing and client go-live
  • Act as overall solution lead on the CRD Product development items

Program Management

  • Manage Product development governance meetings including project plan consolidation and material preparations
  • Manage the project management team overseeing projects associated with the program
  • Lead and oversee communication and engagement with stakeholders, drive program progress, and escalate risks, issues and solutions
  • Drive the implementation of project changes and interventions to achieve program goals
  • Work directly with engineering scrum teams to ensure timelines meet client implementation timelines
  • Manage all key stakeholder communications, including management-level reporting
  • Build and manage Jira/confluence sites to track development sprints
  • Work with scrum teams to define deliverables and release dates

Education and Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years financial services experience
  • Proven institutional investment operations depth with subject matter expertise in one or more of the following core areas: transaction management, reconciliations, corporate actions, performance measurement and attribution, derivatives, bank loans and collateral management
  • Process re-engineering certifications and experience (Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt)
  • Professional consulting experience is a plus
  • Proven leadership and program management skills
  • Proven strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively on global scale with all levels of management
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple (matrixed) organizations to reach common goals
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • PMO Certified a plus but not required

Salary Range:
$135,000 - $210,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
