  • Who we are looking for

    The Custody Product organization is recruiting for a Custody Product Manager to support the Americas Custody Business. State Street's product organization is leading an exciting period of transformation for the business and requires experienced product managers with deep subject matter expertise to join the team and take the business forward.

    As a Custody Product Manager you will be responsible for the Custody product definition, engaging with clients and leading client solutioning and product enhancement efforts, strategic innovation and managing commercial growth and business development efforts. The Global Custody business is embarking on a period of significant change and digital innovation from market infrastructures and State Street is looking to play a leadership role in these market changes. The role requires deep domain expertise of Global Custody with a focus on the Americas region. The role reports to the head of Americas Custody Product.

What you will be responsible for
  • Working closely with the Americas Custody Head to set the strategy for the business and required investment.
  • Documenting the product definition and standards for Global Custody products and working with the Global Delivery teams to create a consistent operating model.
  • Provide domain expertise in the day to day running of the business .
  • Work with the segments and coverage heads representing the business to US clients and cross border clients who take State Street's America's Custody product.
  • Identify areas for improvement of the core product.
  • Track record of engagement with complex clients, solutioning operating models and translating requirements into feature function capability for State Street platforms.
  • What we value

  • Deep subject matter expertise of the Custody family of products; Global Custody, Direct Custody and associated FX and Cash products.
  • Deep subject matter expertise of Global Custody with strong connections to market infrastructures.
  • Prior experience of successfully performing product manager, product development or operation leadership roles
  • Prior experience of leading complex change agendas.
  • Familiarity with industry integration tools and their applicability in shortening the chain of custody across the investment lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of data visualisation tools.
  • Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Seasoned VP/ED with 10+ years' experience in Securities Services.
  • Worked in Product organizations in prior roles.
  • Prior experience working in Operations and/or technology.
  • Consultative experience working with institutional investors.

  • Salary Range:
    $100,000 - $167,500 Annual

    The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
