Who we are looking for

The Product Manager position is part of the PAM/Insurance Software development group supported from Princeton, NJ and Kansas City, MO (with employees in other locations as well). This individual works with business and technical staff to design and implement changes to the accounting software, services ecosystem, and related reporting solutions.

  • Communicate with clients and other key stakeholders
  • Oversee development of the product through iterative planning
  • Liaison between development, product peers and others
  • Define user stories based on requirements
  • Manage the product backlog, including creating and prioritizing the list and updating as necessary based on need, budget and capacity
  • Provide business use cases and testing criteria
  • Execute high level/functional testing
  • Lead analysis and design efforts, translating requirements for development to ensure capability delivered is fit for purpose
  • Manage product roadmaps, overseeing backlog of development items to facilitate prioritization
  • Create and update user documentation
  • Provide training and demos of functionality

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related studies.
  • 5 years of experience as a user of an accounting/financial software OR 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting and/or investment accounting operations
  • Knowledge of inbound/outbound data transmission and processing for investment lifecycle (i.e., trade processing, cash, market data, etc.).
  • Experience with the agile development life cycle.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
