Product Development Analyst

Product Development Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts): Will assist with the growing needs of the business specializing in the further development of a currency hedging product. The Product Development Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of developed software. This position will lead and mentor IT testing team members and external contractors to support the team's development & testing processes. The position requires a close working relationship with developers and business product owners as part of an Agile team. The Product Development Analyst position will oversee and create all aspects of the development and quality assurance process for projects including creating stories, test case creation and execution, test case automation, and development of tools and processes, such as test plans, traceability matrices, and metrics to ensure that quality objectives are met. Specific duties of the position include: ensuring long-term growth and scalability of the currency overlay group by working closely with Global Markets Technology and external vendors to enhance our core product and operational capabilities; working in an Agile IT environment as a critical member of the product team; ensuring that the team understands and follows standard test practices and controls; working closely with developers and business product owners to help elaborate acceptance criteria; designing and executing test cases; and participating in Agile team activities, iteration planning, and backlog grooming. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; plus 5 years of experience in a Quantitative or Quality Assurance role in FX & Capital Markets.

Must have: Demonstrated excellent knowledge of Foreign Exchange trading processes; proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with developers, product owners and engineering management; demonstrated experience in designing and executing complex user test scenarios manually and with automation; demonstrated experience with Agile Scrum methodologies; proven knowledge of Rational TeamCity (RTC); demonstrated in depth knowledge of Functional and Non Functional Security testing; and demonstrated experience with source code management using GitHub. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the ability in the skills listed above with no specific amount of years of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.)

Salary Range:
$130,021 - $160,000 Annual
