Alpha Portfolio Services is developing a skilled team of professionals capable of supporting both the day to day operations of existing clients as well as assisting the implementation for new clients. We are looking for dynamic, self-driven, detail oriented individuals that will be able to resolve and coordinate issues both internally and externally.
Alpha Portfolio Services is increasing its talent to support client expansion onto our Front-to-Back, Investment Platform - Alpha; and has a number of exciting opportunities for motivated individuals. These are new roles in Front Office Support, Front Office Data Control, and Portfolio Control functions, creating opportunities for development and growth in the future.

Why this role is important to us
The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets, SSGS tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.
What you will be responsible for
- Leading end-to-end resolution of queries and coordination amongst team. Owning issues and escalating to senior management as needed.
- Management responsibilities are a possibility.
- Analytical knowledge in CRIMS, SSCD, RKS and SQL knowledge as a plus to pinpoint and resolve transaction, position and cash queries.
- Interact with all front office/middle office teams in order to implement and answer client queries.
- Oversight of checklists to ensure teams are signing off. Evaluate and track progress of issues and dependencies.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge/experience in investment industry
- CRIMS knowledge is a plus
- Strong on Excel and other MS office products
- Post-Secondary Education
- SQL knowledge would be advantageous
