Platform Engineering (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, MA): Drive positive change in the environment by managing some of the latest technologies in the industry as part of a team that focuses on Agile process improvement supported by advanced technologies. Contribute to a high performing DevOps and Automation Engineer at State Street's Platform Engineering Team and Management team, partner with other technologists in IT and the business to drive State Street's digital transformation. Specific duties of the position include: design and develop an optimized and automated system architecture testing framework in a CI/CD process using the latest testing tools, and work with teams to implement those processes in enterprise DevOps/Platform Engineering; contribute to test automation in the execution of CI/CD processes in a clear, maintainable manner, with high visibility into the build, test, servers, and deployment phases; work with application teams to help adopt continuous system architecture testing optimization, performance, API, unit, load, regression, security and code coverage scanning - in the areas of build, distribution, and deployment; help to configure the DevOps stack with regards to Test Management, performance monitoring, analytics, and auditability; commit to ensuring maximum system uptime and optimal performance for our customers in our Production environment; work with the Development, project/product management organizations to align projects, releases, patches, and other efforts; develop and maintain system installation, configuration, and operations procedures; work with a group of highly motivated DevOps/Platform Engineering leaders, engineers and systems administrators; monitor support contracts and licensing; and work collaboratively and knowledge share with other divisions and corporate counterparts to foster the mindset of continuous system improvement across the environment; migrate the Applications from existing CI/CD tools to new CI/CD integration tools i.e harness; and migrate the Application from on-prem data center to Multi Cloud Platform. Hybrid telecommuting from within the U.S. permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 5 years of IT experience in DevOps engineering or software development. Alternatively, will accept: Master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3 years of IT experience in DevOps engineering or software development.

Total experience above must include the following (can be gained concurrently): at least 1 year of experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment technologies. Must also have the following: understanding of Test Orchestration and Management, SDLC, DevOps/Release Engineering, and CI/CD; demonstrated knowledge and understanding of test tools such as Xray for Jira, Selenium, TestNG, Harness, Tricentis, LoadRunner, Rational Integration Tester, SOAP UI, Test Data Manager, Junit, JaCoCo, Cucumber, SonarQube, Veracode, or SilkTest; demonstrated familiarity with build tools like Ant, Maven, npm and Gradle; demonstrated experience with GitHub, Cloudbees Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira; proven strong skills with various operating environments including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Virtual machines; and ability to clearly demonstrate hands-on experience with shell scripting, Java, Python, Groovy, as well as Agile development methodology and DevOps mindset; demonstrated strong problem analysis, resolution, decision-making and judgment skills; Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within functional and across peer IT and business partners; demonstrated familiarity with Multi-Cloud technologies including Azure, AWS and with virtual services such as SaaS, PaaS and IaaS; and demonstrated ability to design, develop, set-up, configure, and monitor with an application performance monitoring tool. Salary Range:
$172 744 - $180 000 Annual
