Who we are looking for

This is a hands-on Developer position in State Street Global Technology Services ERM systems, used by the business to manage risk. We are looking for candidate who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that's always pushing boundaries. The ideal candidate has experience in SAS programming, SAS administration and Statistical analysis and experience in Model Risk Management platform

What you will be responsible for

As a Developer you will

  • Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation of Model Risk Management Platform
  • Perform administration activities for SAS Model Risk Management platform
  • Configure SAS MRM platform using SAS programming
  • Develop ETL programs and create reports
  • Work collaboratively within an agile project team
  • Follow best practices and coding standards
  • Ability to drive change through collaboration, influence and demonstration of POCs.
  • Develop custom configurable frameworks/libraries

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • 1-2 years of overall software industry and development cycle exposure
  • Strong knowledge of SAS Programming and SAS Administration
  • Experience with SAS Client tools
  • Experience in Model Risk Management Platform
  • Experience in Python programming is a plus
  • Preferred SAS Certified programmer
  • Good understanding on public cloud, preferably AWS
  • Good understanding of Unix OS and shell scripting
  • Experience working in a multi-developer environment, using version control (i.e. Git)
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Ability to delivery and co-ordinate with team members in a matrix organization.
  • Communicate effectively in a professional manner both written and orally
  • Team player with a positive attitude enthusiasm initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to multi-task energetic fast learner & problem solver

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $120,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
