Who we are looking for

As part of a business expansion in Italy we are looking for a professional to join the Local Paying Agent team. This team performs all activities related the end to end process of orders related to foreign funds. Our duties range from day to day operations to project activities. The candidate will work closely with this/her managers as well as with colleagues from global delivery department and other State Street offices.

Why this role is important to us

Our department plays an important role in State Street and is in charge end to end process for orders on foreign funds and the processing & oversight of corporate actions; this provides the opportunity to consolidate a complete view of different orders and to build strong relationship with our counterparties, mainly Italian distributors and foreign Transfer Agents.

What you will be responsible for

As part of the team you will

  • Perform and monitor day-to-day operations;
  • Following up with third parties, including TA, distributors and fund managers;
  • Assisting distributors' requests on a daily basis;
  • Perform oversight duties;
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues;
  • Keep up to date procedures and job aid;
  • Take responsibility for personal development and training.

  • English (fluent, spoken and in writing).

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in economy or finance is a plus;
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years professional experience in financial service.
