Who we are looking for

A part of the Global Treasury team, the role primarily supports the execution and ongoing enhancement of State Street Bank's liquidity management governance framework. This involves enhancing the liquidity governance structure, addressing regulatory requirements, coordinating regulatory exams, drafting and enhancing first line procedures, and tracking and driving the execution of open findings. There will be a particular focus on liquidity stress testing and a need to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business units, the second line of defense, and Corporate Audit.

What you will be responsible for

  • Support the liquidity risk identification process.
  • Oversee the execution and preparation of liquidity committee materials and associated reporting.
  • Coordinate regulatory examinations, including overseeing the preparation of all exam requests and inquiries and driving positive regulatory interactions.
  • Creating and maintaining first line policies and procedures within liquidity risk.
  • Designing and implementing a tracking and assurance process over open liquidity findings.
  • Preparing and delivering engagement status updates to key stakeholders.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA degree in a related field (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting)
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on Global Treasury/Liquidity preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with people at various levels of the organisation
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, delegate team tasks while maintaining focus on priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment
  • Exhibit a high level of flexibility towards undertaking additional responsibilities as required to contribute to the overall team's success
  • Experience in preparing presentations for executive management and regulators
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point skills

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
