Why this role is important to us:

The Expense Fund Accountant is an integral member of the team responsible for providing high-quality services to the clients. The person acting as Fund Expenses Accountant is responsible for calculating, accounting and administering the expenditure of funds, analyzing the information received, checking any discrepancies on an ongoing basis and resolving them in a professional manner, and delivering the results to the accounting teams in a timely manner.

What you will be responsible for:

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Performing calculations and applying fees, expenses and rebates to accounting accounts within the specified time and with the required accuracy
  • Consideration of the impact of daily expenses on the value of the fund
  • Implementation of changes in the budget and schedules of fees and expenses of investment funds in accounting systems based on received instructions
  • Cooperation with other departments within the company and supervisory departments in order to obtain appropriate baseline information, solve problems and eliminate accounting discrepancies
  • Documentation of performed activities, preparation of a checklist
  • Timely delivery of results

OTHER

  • Resolve issues identified by senior accountants and the manager and keep them informed of progress
  • Providing timely professional responses to all inquiries
  • Taking care of building and maintaining good relations with colleagues and internal clients
  • Active participation in the training and development of own and other group members' skills as required
  • Proactive attitude to change processes and procedures with proper documentation
  • Keeping the desk clean, taking care of document archiving and office space
  • Defining your goals and ensuring their implementation and updating in cooperation with the Senior Accountant or Team Manager at the beginning of each year
  • Active participation in the assessment process by self-assessment and proposing development goals

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accountancy or Business related degree (preferred)
  • Experience in accounting of investment funds will be an advantage.
