Java Developer - Transaction Services - Assistant Manager

Role Summary:

As a Java Developer you will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Transaction Services platforms as a member of an agile scrum team. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space.

As Java Developer you will:

  • Design, Develop, Test, and Validate application solutions using Java for Finance platforms based on the business requirements
  • Development of Java backend especially in Core JAVA, MQ and Spring boot
  • Sound knowledge/experience on PL/SQL and SQL programming to an extent to carry out the necessary Application development and integration work.
  • Should possess a strong working experience in Java Architecture, development, related SDLC processes, excellent JEE, messaging (MQ) and database knowledge.
  • Sound fundamentals in Java, design patterns, requirement understanding, unit-testing.
  • Issue debugging, investigate application related issues, handle and respond to critical application related support issues raised by the business with appropriate fix or technical resolution within a short span of time.
  • Understanding the business requirements and converting to the technical requirements
  • Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture and Kubernetes is plus
  • Implement unit test automation using Junit or similar tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
  • Experience in DevOPS is a plus with hands on experience in Jenkins, Git and any one antifactory tool.

Core/Must have skills:

  • 5-10 Years Exp in Core Java/ J2EE
  • 4+ Years Exp in SQL/ PLSQL (Prefer Oracle database)
  • 4+ Years Exp in MQ (Middle Tier)
  • Having hands on and design experience in Springboot
  • Good Problem Solving and good communication skills

Good to have skills:

  • Experience in implementing Microservices is a plus
  • Experience in Kubernetes technologies is a plus.
