Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our interface development team in Frankfurt a.M. / Germany and closely collaborate with teams all over the globe. The Interfaces Team is responsible for up- and downstream data feeds to and from the central fund accounting platform used at Investment Administrator Insourcing services and is part of the global application development function.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As As IT Business Analyst you will

  • Be responsible for recording and analyzing requirements for interfaces to and from the central fund accounting system (SimCorp Dimension - SCD), working across the board with the relevant specialist units and configuration teams
  • Design a solution based on the requirements collected, describe the required architecture and processes and specify the requirements for implementation in the integration layer
  • Develop and maintain the SCD configuration required for the export or import of data
  • Support development tests of the overall solution and conduct a review of the implementation together with team colleagues
  • Actively participate in projects, represent the team in projects and ensure that information from these projects is passed on to the team

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies (e.g. business administration, business informatics, mathematics) or comparable
  • Experience in the design, implementation, maintenance and support of interface solutions in the financial industry, ideally at investment administration companies
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in requirements analysis and data stream design
  • Good knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and how to apply it to Oracle databases
  • Good knowledge of Simcorp Dimenstion, especially Data Extractor and Filter Tool Box
  • Fluent German and English language

Additional requirements

  • Experience in agile methodology and cloud native technologies will be considered a plus
