Who we are looking for

An open-minded person who would like to contribute to expansion of Alpha footprint in Poland. A professional who will join our team and will be responsible for provision of end-to-end client service, for example: comparing records of client`s Front Office System kept at State Street, flagging and resolving differences and raising inquiries with internal teams. Additionally, will be responsible for direct support of the Front Office: addressing queries and analysis of client's portfolio. Someone who has a proactive mindset to inform other business units of potential issues further downstream.

What you will be responsible for

As the Investment Portfolio Analysis Senior Expert you will be:

  • Managing day-to-day deliverables, performing checks, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution of identified issues and queries.
  • Working as a subject matter expert on Portfolio Services functions.
  • Assisting in gathering and preparing project information by attending and facilitating client and internal meetings.
  • Displaying a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role, engaging teams as needed to gain consensus.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders to help aid the successful delivery of service.
  • Driving review of Operating Models, Service Level Agreements, and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Acting as the escalation contact for Client Middle Office Teams on more complex queries/issues/ breaks requiring end-to-end portfolio services support.
  • Assisting in the analysis of current/proposed processes and recommend solutions and process improvements.
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and management, actively working with other team members (also from different locations) to build team spirit to be able to grow as a global group.
  • Adhering to internal procedures and best practices at all times, and ensuring all activities are compliant with corporate standards.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business related degree
  • 5+ years of financial services industry experience: experience in Custody, Middle Office, Fund Administration functions is an asset
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Good English skills (both in written and verbal communication)
  • Experience in client service considered a plus
