State Street seeks to recruit a Head of Workforce Transformation - Vice President to develop and maintain programs to support the global IT workforce. This candidate should be a proven leader who has experience delivering strategic outcomes and a focus on business needs. The candidate should have experience managing within a large organization and working across many stakeholders. This leader will be part of a team responsible for operations in the office of the Global Chief Information Officer and will interact with each functional area of the Global Technology Services division. This position will report to the Chief Business Officer of the Global Technology Services division and be based in the US.

What you will be responsible for
This leader will be a thought leader and set strategy for workforce transformation across the organization. Drawing upon experience, self-directed research you will develop strategic programs, gain buy-in from senior stakeholders, and lead a global team to execute tactics that support the workforce strategy. The strategy and plans include global footprint, communications, culture, engagement, diversity, learning programs, skill development, headcount approval process and hiring. The Workforce Transformation Team delivers the technology hiring, learning, diversity strategy to HR (Human Resources) and vendor partners and shares best practices regularly across the Global Technology Services (GTS) division. In addition, Workforce Transformation Leader will be the subject matter expert with respect to the tech workforce and deliver insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the global IT footprint strategy for a 10,000+ worker operation and dovetail with Operations, a 40,000+ organization
- Maintain the communications strategy, providing consistent messaging in alignment with strategic priorities, including executive presentations, regular updates and newsletters
- Lead the global headcount approval process.
- Coordinate, measure, and manage the Talent Action Plan for the GTS organization.
- Develop and maintain the annual hiring strategy and budget for interns, co-ops, and recruiting, globally, in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
- Develop, communicate, and maintain the continuous learning program for the Global Technology Services (GTS) organization
- Provide insights to CIOs with respect to the workforce statistics, outsourcing, offshoring, skills inventory, learning, skill gap reports, and hiring.
- Partner with Human Resources in the areas of culture, Diversity Inclusion & Equity, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Organization Design, and Corporate Citizenship
- Provide product guidance and governance of the skills portal application for all tech employees and manage biannual global updates.
- Understand General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR ), and maintain compliance among the team.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in technology industry or working with technology teams in the finance industry
- Knowledge of modern technology stacks and services - data science, machine learning, cloud, help desk services, incident management, etc.
- People management experience
- Project management experience leading large projects
- Experience operating in regulated environment.
- Experience with human capital management
Preferred
- Marketing and Integrated Communications background
- Prior experience leading technical teams
Salary Range:
$135,000 - $210,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
