What you will be responsible for:
The Head of Operational Resiliency, SVP is responsible for leading the Architecture, Transformation and Testing Center of Excellence that supports the delivery of the global operational resiliency program. This role involves establishing and managing four functions/teams globally, namely, Resiliency by Design, Resiliency Intelligence, Resiliency Transformation, and Testing Center of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities of the position include but will not be limited to:
- Build a diverse, supportive, and excellence driven resiliency Architecture, Transformation & Testing team.
- Drive projects that support enterprise continuity and resiliency programs in accordance with best practices and enterprise change management standards.
- Establish an effective Horizon Scanning program that provides effective insights into emerging trends, risks and opportunities that could have significant impact in operations and capitalize on new developments.
- Oversee the Resiliency Testing Center of Excellence (CoE), which is responsible for Third party Testing, Client Testing (Joint and Table-top), Incident Management Testing, Scenario Testing, and overall Resiliency Testing Program.
- Establish key relationships and serve as the primary resiliency contact for the Architecture/Cybersecurity/ Technology Platform Engineering & Operations (TPEO) /Third Party teams, collaborating, contributing and supporting their initiatives and processes and look to establish and improve ways of working across teams.
- Monitor the status of the organizational risk mitigation programs related to resiliency risks and provide reporting to management boards across the organization.

- Partner with senior leaders to facilitate informed risk decisions by providing relevant content necessary to formulate a prioritized path forward.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on resiliency best practice and regulatory policies and changes.
- Lead, develop and mentor a geographically dispersed global team.
- Working with Second Line of Defense to define and embed a mature resilience risk framework
- Responsible for the oversight Third Party Operation Resiliency team covering DDQ reviews and third party testing oversight
- Develop team's expertise by coaching, mentoring and implementing training programs.
- Drive architectural standards supporting the global operational resilience program inclusive of cyber and third party.
Experience:
- Extensive relevant experience in a similar role
- Prior experience implementing Operational Resiliency transformation programs including Cybersecurity, Technology, Third party and Business Continuity enhancements
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices, particularly as they relate to operational resilience and system recovery.
- Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and adopting new technologies (e.g., automation, AI) to enhance operational resilience.
- Able to define and embed an effective risk and control environment, supporting the implementation of robust standards
- Proven ability to lead and influence global teams and transformational initiatives in large, complex, multinational organizations, in highly regulated financial services industry.
- Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant global regulations, ideally resilience related.
- Detailed understanding of non-financial risk frameworks.
- Experience of working in an asset management or servicing business and/or a client centric organization, carrying material payments and settlements risk.
- Experience working with external auditors, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Experience presenting to senior executive stakeholder and relevant committees.
