What you will be responsible for

As Fund Order Services Officer you will

Purpose of the Job

  • The main function of the role is: Account for the day-to-day management of a team and manage daily service delivery and production activities performed by staff. Work in conjunction with individuals on the team as well as up/downstream teams, stakeholders to ensure seamless processing according to the fund's policies, to ensure all SLAs are met. As well as, work collaboratively with management on migration, projects, KPIs, etc.
  • To involve in the process to approve the high value transactions, risk email handling and asset conversions.
  • Take ownership to monitor all the emails, ensure no missing or failure to response emails and guide staffs to handle the queries with a timely and professional manner.
  • Build trust and good relationship with stakeholders
  • Communicate and escalate issues timely and effectively in accordance with escalation protocol
  • Well manage KPI, overtime, turn over, IDDs etc.
  • Ensure controls, checklists, procedures, and compliance requirements are met timely and accurately when delivering services to clients
  • Train, develop and motivate new staff, as well as complete performance appraisals.
  • Buildup measurable and visible performance ranking for the team.
  • Create systematical training framework to benefit new joiners learning and cross support training
  • To identify key talent, guide he/her to become a mature staff /role model of the team and assist the talent to move to next level.
  • To conduct regular team meeting /team talk to share information and knowledge
  • To identify gaps/risks/pain points by reviewing the process and utilize technology to simplify current process and mitigate the potential risks.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 8 + years of related Custody and/or Fund Accounting experience, be in management or supervisory role for 2+ years.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and management skills.
  • Good escalation awareness and risk excellence.
  • Good capability to drive changes
  • Knowledge of securities language, Corporate Actions, Income & Expense accruals, SEC
    Yields, Distributions, NAV calculations etc.
  • Should have prior Mutual Fund accounting experience including General Ledger analysis and reconciliation
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and management skills.
