Who we are looking for
The Foreign Exchange (FX) Middle Office team provides support across the globe (North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific) for State Street Global Market's FX Sales & Trading Desks and Operations groups. The team also acts as the primary liaison for external and internal clients. In addition to trading support and client services, the team maintains effective controls and participates on projects related to new trading initiatives, testing and implementation planning.

What you will be responsible for
As Global Markets Front Office Trading Services, Office you will
Assist SSGM FX Sales & Trading with trade support and related responsibilities
- Research and resolve trade related inquiries from Trading, back office, fund groups, and clients
- Monitoring SSGM's FX Order Management System: identifying and repairing rejected trades to ensure trades flow to the back office correctly
- Cancelling, modifying, and rebooking of trades
- Performing pricing validations for SSGM's indirect FX activity
- Communicate with multiple departments (Trading, Operations, Finance, IT, third party vendors) to resolve breaks and trade discrepancies on a time sensitive basis.
- Maintain strong working relationships and liaise with internal and external counterparts including Clients, Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology and Business Architecture
- Participate in various projects that require FXMO expertise, involvement with testing or future support
- Understand the intricacies of manual and/or exceptional processes on the FX desk and work with IT, Credit & Compliance, Operations and Business Analysis teams to improve process inefficiencies
- Liaise with CSS team with queries relating to the on-boarding of new business.
- Produce reporting for clients and internal use.
- Review and/or implement controls when applicable to reduce risk.
- Act as a liaison between Trading Desk, Product Control and Finance on daily pricing discrepancies and produce daily trade activity and profit and loss reports to management

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent education qualifications deemed appropriate in local market
- 1-3 years financial services industry experience and experience in FX preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- General understanding of current regulatory requirements
- Fluency in English
