Who we are looking for:

With continued growth of the global alternative investment business and regulatory reporting requirement from official regulators, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our regulatory reporting team.

The role will encompass involvement in new regulatory reporting initiatives, Dodd Frank, Directive on Alternative Investment Fund Managers, arising from recent changes in legislation.

What you will be responsible for:

Plan calendars for regulatory report production to ensure timely preparation, review and circulation to clients/auditors.

Review of regulatory calculations for each client

Maintain a supportive and service role to internal teams and the client

Maintain and update as appropriate client files and customisations

Review client regulatory reports, updates etc.

Maintenance and resolvement of issue logs

Manage workflow efficiencies of the whole team to meet client deliverables and to ensure timely and accurate production of reports, by allocating and organizing work, setting deadlines and implementing procedures

Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures

Provide training to new staff members as well as provides developmental opportunities and performance evaluation to existing staff. Write and deliver performance appraisals.

Foster relationship with clients and other areas of the bank to ensure timely delivery of high quality deliverables

Other special projects or tasks as assigned

Administrative duties of a sundry nature.

Skills/Knowledge

A basic to in depth knowledge of Form PF and AIFMD regulations and implications on regulatory reporting

Prior experience of NAV and fund accounting beneficial.

Strong organizational and time management skills - ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, should have ability to concisely and accurately summarise complex issues in written form.

Should possess strong initiative, and be able to create innovative solutions to problems without a high degree of supervision.

Good interpersonal skills.

Must have ability to perform effectively within strict deadlines.

High degree of IT Literacy in particular MS Excel.

Strong issue resolution skills.

Education and Experience

Degree/Qualification in Accounting or Finance or Business related area

Experience within Funds Industry mandatory

Experience in project management is desirable
