Who we are looking for

To troubleshoot and support employees with their IT related problems. Own issues from start to finish and escalate to Team lead when required.

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for

As Administrator you will

  • Manage their day to day activities including; setting up new hires PC's both software and hardware, helpdesk tickets, walkups, projects assigned by Team lead, documentation, and other assigned tasks.
  • Provide IT Service Desk support to users within the organization for computer, application, system, device, and access and hardware issues.
  • Plan, prioritize and schedule help desk activities to ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time
  • Setting up Active Directory accounts, imaging user PC's, setup windows 10 profiles, create email accounts, setup phones, and physically setup and troubleshoot users issues at their desk.
  • Physically Manage the inventory of all IT assets to include hardware and software
  • Learn and implement department policies, procedures, and technical areas related to process and procedures
  • Replace employee's PC's and transfer their data, with minimal down time for the employee
  • Collect PC equipment from Terminations and update our Asset management system.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • A BA/BS degree required in Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently and also has the strong desire to work as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated practical, hands-on, "can-do" approach, and the ability to work efficiently and creatively
