Who we are looking for
State Street Alpha Collateral are looking for an experienced digital product lead to enable the delivery and growth of State Street's Digital Collateral Management business. Collateral Management offers collateral solutions and capabilities to flexibly support our State Street clients. The product suite includes end-to-end collateral management, administration and servicing, analytics and optimization, and transformation.
This role involves managing aspects of project execution, from initial planning and analysis to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will report directly to the EMEA Head of Collateral Management and work collaboratively with regional and global cross-business partners and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Custody, Sales, Onboarding, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance). The candidate will work across functions and collaborate with different teams across the firm to deliver distributed ledger products being brought to market.

Why this role is important to us
The Project Lead in Collateral Management is tasked with the successful delivery of high-profile projects. The Project Lead will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered in time, within budget and meet quality standards
Tasks for the Digital Collateral Programme may include items such as :
- Collateral scoping - Including products, legal agreements, collateral assets, custodians, growth opportunities
- Analysis of current operating model proposal and chosen digital vendor solutions
- Business requirements elicitation and definition in the format agreed by the client, e.g. User Stories
- Design of target operating model across; process, IT data, people, governance, risk framework, legal, regulatory and clients
- Transition state planning to implement ToM
- Validation of solution and functional design artefacts
- User acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts
- Provide accurate and timely updates on collateral workstream plan, tasks, risks, issues, dependencies, blockers and assumptions as per the cadence set out by the central governance team
- Ensure all documentation produced for consumption by the programme as deliverables follows the sign-off process laid out by the central governance team

- Proven ability to to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated passion for innovation and emerging digital technologies with natural curiosity around new technological evolution
- Knowledge of the DLT and regulatory activity. A result oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations. A strong sense of accountability and ownership of your work, with the ability to take initiative and drive products forwards
- Understanding of the ongoing market trends in crypto and tokenized assets
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Clarity,)
- Capable of effectively prioritizing and escalating communication where appropriate
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are advantageous
- 8+ years of project experience within financial sector preferred
