This front office, trading floor role is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive top-tier buy side quantitative trading experience to create and run their own eFX systematic trading strategies, supported by a well-resourced and friendly team of eFX quants and developers.

When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to SSGM business unit. What you will be responsible for

As an eFX Quant Trading Specialist, Vice President, you will

There is plenty of scope for the successful candidate to shape the role according to their experience and ideas. The broader eFX quant trading team would benefit from the successful candidate sharing their expert insight and guidance. Currently traded instruments are FX spot and NDFs, but we would consider expanding into FX forwards, swaps, and futures with the right candidate and strategies.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • Extensive quantitative trading experience at one or more top-tier buy-side firms.

Preferred:

  • Experience in FX spot, swaps, or forwards, but quantitative trading experience in any substantially electronic market (e.g. cash equities, futures, etc.) could be relevant
  • Detailed understanding of order book dynamics, different types of client flows, idiosyncrasies of different markets
  • One or more quantitative degrees
  • Familiarity with a popular coding language
  • Required: degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science included)
  • A post-graduate degree in a quantitative discipline would be a benefit.
