Dealing Transfer Agent, Senior Associate

Permanent Contract

Your Role

We are looking for a Transfer Agent, Senior Associate to join our Dealing Events team. You will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence as well as reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes and complying with the regulatory regimes related to Client Asset and Data protection. You will be accurately delivering high quality service both internally and externally by incorporating experience and industry knowledge in the daily workflow.

Your Team

You'll be working within the Dealing department and directly reporting to the Line Manager, Officer level.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in data review, including but not limited to checking and sign-off during control process
  • Assume responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the group acting as a source of technical expertise
  • Ensure awareness of and adherence to the key TA controls at all times
  • Communicate relevant information as appropriate up and down the line and escalate where necessary
  • Work closely with the other departments within the IFDS
  • Improve current processes to meet the changing requirements of our clients and improve efficiency
  • Recognize the importance of accuracy and high standards of quality during monitoring and execution Events tasks
  • Strongly adhere to existing procedures and controls in place and pro-actively react when foreseeing issues; ensure that procedural/ system changes are updated into the team procedures.
  • Monitor and ensures the accuracy and quality of the events.
    • Corporate Events e.g. Fund Mergers, Liquidations, Dividends
    • Trailer Fee/Rebate processing

Your Profile

  • Master's Degree in Finance or Economics
  • More than 5 years' experience of analyzing and evaluating complex data
  • Fund Industry/Transfer Agency experience/ detailed understanding of procedures
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially an advanced level of Excel
  • Administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure
  • A clear and analytical methodical approach to problem-solving; organization skills for oneself and others; willingness to assume additional tasks in order to share workload within team/department; meet tight deadlines with initiative and team-oriented spirit
  • Excellent communication skills - Fluent in English
