Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Data and Reporting Services Manager, Vice President to provide leadership in designing, implementing and maintaining reports and dashboards for Corporate Audit. In this role, you will report directly to the Audit Chief Operating officer. You will also play a critical role in the ongoing development of staff and support various departmental initiatives. This role is based out of Boston, Massachusetts.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As the Data and Reporting Services Manager you will:

  • Establish relationships with stakeholders within Corporate Audit to identify and deliver reporting and dashboarding capabilities.
  • Design, coordinate and implement reporting and dashboarding solutions to support the Corporate Audit department.
  • Collaborate with the Center of Innovation to identify more strategic/advanced solutions.
  • Serve as the data governance lead, supporting the broader department with policy compliance.
  • Develop in-depth subject-matter-expertise in understanding key data sources and data lineage within the organization.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Statistics, Financial Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working with large datasets, reporting and/or dashboarding.
  • Relevant work experience in Internal Audit functions and/or at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor for a financial services company preferred.
  • Working experience in the application or reporting development experience with exposure to analytics tools such as PC SAS, Enterprise Guide, SQL, Business Objects, Tableau, or Spotfire.
  • Solid statistical knowledge and excellent quantitative modeling, analytical, research and programming skills (R, Python, SQL, or SAS).

Additional requirements

While majority of the time you will work from your primary location, some domestic and international travel may be required to a variety of locations where State Street operates.

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
