Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services is looking for an experienced system/application analyst to manage Enterprise Risk Management Applications This is a system analyst position responsible for designing application of credit risk systems used for risk management. The position involves designing solutions to process large volumes of data and interface systems for regulatory compliance and risk management. The candidate should have Risk Data Analyst is a role that support the data operations function of the Enterprise Risk Management IT team..

This role will assist the ERM IT team in defining and operationalizing data management practices and reporting.

As Risk Data Analyst

  • Develop and maintain the overall data flow across systems with system design and development.
  • Understand the current dataflow and apply knowledge of the business to identify potential data discrepancies
  • Design data quality checks to ensure the integrity of data as it flows across systems
  • Comprehensive support for data fora in assembling data quality metrics, root cause analysis and follow up of remediation of observed data quality breaches.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • 3 plus years of relevant experience in ORACLE SQL, and non-relational data platforms
  • Hands on experience in performing as enterprise data analyst
  • Basic understanding of data modeling.
  • Exposure to patterns of data integration preferably in enterprise risk management.
  • Critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • Experience in Investment banking or Enterprise Risk Management/Credit/Trading Risk
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing capabilities
  • Understanding of existing and emerging data technologies - data governance platforms like Collibra
  • Some exposure to quantitative measurement of risk using statistical methods is highly preferred

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Math or Engineering

  • Ability to deliver and co-ordinate with team members in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent English speaking is must
  • Communicate effectively in a professional manner both written and orally
  • Team player with a positive attitude enthusiasm initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to multi-task energetic fast learner & problem solver
  • Working hours typically between 9am and 5pm to partially overlap with US EST work hours.
  • Hybrid working environment (Work from Office + Work from Home)
