Custody Product Specialist - UK, Senior Associate - Hybrid

The Custody Product organisation is recruiting for a Custody Product Specialist to support the Custody Product Management team. State Street's product organisation is leading an exciting period of transformation for the custody business and requires a dynamic, solution-orientated person to join the team and assist with taking the Product team, and our business, forward.

Function

As a Custody Product Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the global Custody Product Management Team with managing commercial growth, business development efforts, and product analysis. The role requires you to be responsive, outcome-orientated and it's preferable for candidates to have some experience in, or subject matter expertise of: the Global Custody space, client-facing engagement, and/or problem analysis and resolution. The role reports to the EMEA Head of Custody Product.

Responsibilities

The Custody Product Specialist will have responsibility for the following:

  • Supporting the Custody Product Managers in business development opportunities that drive our commercial growth.
  • Manage projects and coordinate efforts across our team and business unit. Examples include: RFPs, client matrices, and product information sheets.
  • Preparing materials, including decks and analysis, for client /new business meetings
  • Support client/product solutioning engaging with relevant business stakeholder to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide custody expertise to the Product Managers in the day to day running of the business.
  • Draft documentation that describes our products or their changes
  • Work with the Product Managers and internal partners to identify areas for improvement of the core product.
  • Manage and address relevant queries and provide required analysis.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and able to manage multiple responsibilities at any given time.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills: including working knowledge or aptitude with PowerPoint, Excel and Tableau.
  • Strong team player who is not fazed by working with senior management, internal and external clients and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings to internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills and able to drive problem resolution.

Experience

  • Associate level with some experience in Custody/Securities Services preferred.
  • Prior experience working in Operations and/or technology.
  • Experience in, or at least comfortable with, being part of a team driving forward change.
  • Team player who enjoys working across complex organisations and collaborating with partners.
