An excellent opportunity has arisen at the Associate 2 level within EMEA Custody Cash, which involves carrying out a high risk function within the operation. The successful candidate's responsibilities primarily include the timely and accurate processing specific activities performed in the areas of Cash Management. The Senior Payment Specialist in Cash Department is a main point of contact for all other supporting functions and is responsible for analyzing information, monitoring and resolving queries received from external parties.

What you will be responsible for:
As Senior EMEA Custody Cash Specialist you will:
- Process timely and accurately cash instructions in accordance with Fund/internal and external clients deadlines, operating procedures and legal regulations.
- Verify the work of other Transaction Services Cash Specialists within the team for quality and accuracy.
- Effectively prioritize and reorganize tasks to changing priorities and business circumstances.
- Participate/run and complete assigned projects and departmental initiatives as required
- Participate in departmental procedure review.
- Assist with collating department management information. Compile and categorize data used for monthly operational metrics.
- Effectively identify potential issues that might work against the team and take early corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively and engage in building an effective working relationship with internal and external clients
- Work with first line Manager on process improvements
- Act as a team leader's deputy in his/her absence
- Involvement in the training and development of other team members.
- Collaborate with other teams to discuss non-standard topics and market specifics

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Custody Banking or International Organization (12+ months in previous position is a must)
- Experience in working in Asset Servicing, Custody department would be an advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Communicative in German would be considered as a strong asset
- An understanding of the financial services industry
- An understanding of Custody Banking and Standards
- Knowledge of Funds Transfer Process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
- Educated to a degree level (preferred)
