Custody and EMEA Investment Services - Product Control - Vice President
State Street's Global Product organisation is leading an exciting period of transformation for the business and is recruiting for a Vice President in the Custody - Product Control space to join the team and help take the business forward.
Function
The Custody Product organisation encompasses of roles covering Product Management, Product Development, Network Management, and Product Control. The Product Control function is responsible for the development of strategy assessments, lead the control agenda and framework, as well as develop the product platform and the function's analytics and reporting.
Role
The successful candidate will join the Product Control team, reporting directly to the Head of Product Control. The role will work across the Product team to understand MIS, reporting, and data needs, develop its strategy and OKRs, as well assist in the daily management of all aspects of the Product Organisation. You will partner with CAO, Finance, and IT teams globally to address business questions derived from managing the P&L, cost to serve, and commercials.

Responsibilities
- P&L and commercials analysis on both Revenue Fees and NII
- Data sourcing on various business metrics and financial reporting
- Development of the Product Platform to build P&L tools covering price, risk, cost to serve and key metrics
- Conduct and co-ordinate deep dives on strategy or risk topics across the business
- Work across functions and finance teams to understand business impacts of expense allocations, and drive improvements.
- Assist in the function's management responsibilities covering OKRs, People initiatives, Strategy, and Management Reporting.
Skills
- Finance or Business Management background
- Solid understanding of the Custody family of products; Global Custody, Direct Custody and associated FX and Cash products
- Budget and finance skills
- Proven expertise in strategy documentation.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, using MS Office suite.
- Understanding of product control frameworks and governance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to navigate organisation through the solution delivery cycle.
- Proven change agent with track record of delivery
- Track record of solving data integration challenges across complex and at scale data sets
- Data management/ data visualisation techniques (Tableau, Alteryx, Python)
- People management skills, to manage the book of work, as well as the development of members of the team.
Experience
- VP with 8+ years' experience in Asset Servicing / Securities Services
- Worked in Product organisations in prior roles.
- Prior experience working in Product / Finance / Business Management / Controller.
- Strong team player who can thrive in a large complex global organization.
