Experienced fund accountant to join the Complex Operations Organization and deliver NAVs and other accounting operational outputs for State Street's clients. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidate is expected to ensure prompt follow up on exception situations and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk and deliver excellent service to clients.

What you will be responsible for

As a Complex Operations Senior Associate you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities and documented controls to ensure daily deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner
  • Facilitate timely resolution of issues related to the production of the NAV; work with relevant business units and/or external clients as needed
  • Propose and work to implement workflow changes and supporting technical solutions leading to improved productivity.
  • Identify and analyze operations risks related to current and potential business and recommend procedural changes as needed
  • Participate on projects or committees within the department and/or with other operations teams
  • During the course of normal day-to-day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and reporting and/or escalating in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of operational functions within Custody and/or Fund Accounting.
  • Ability to effectively bring individuals from multiple areas together to resolve identified issues. •
  • Ability to provide technical expertise to resolve daily problems.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word).

Salary Range:
$50,000 - $83,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
