  • Role Summary & Role Description
    • Key Responsibilities:

      We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer with 10+ years of work experience with hands-on cloud data migration development experience. The candidate should have industry experience (preferably in Financial Services) in builing enterprise applications and experience in Cloud based database engineering platforms.

      • End to end Cloud Data Lake design & development including data ingestion, data modeling and data distribution.

      • Build data integrations for high volume data movements between on-prem/cloud-based systems.

      • Manage and use appropriate tools/services in the cloud data lake development and deployment.

• Participating in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.

• Providing technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.

• Ensuring all cloud solutions exhibit higher level of cost efficiency, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

• Preparation and maintenance of appropriate technical documentation
  • Experience in AUTOSYS (any other job scheduler)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
  • BS or Equivalent Finance/Computer Science degree
  • Core/Must have skills:

    AWS Cloud Data Engineering with Databricks.

    Hands on experience in designing, implementing and deploying Cloud data migration on AWS and Databricks

    Experience on Apache Kafka streaming processing and Python scripting.

    Expertise in Data Modeling and DB design with strong skills in performance tuning

    GIT, Jenkins, Oracle PL/SQL, Postgres

    Work Schedule:

    Hybrid - 3-4 Days work from office
