Who we are looking for
The Client Service Risk Specialist will be responsible for the successful oversight, maintenance & execution of the client service required to provide market risk, liquidity and ESG management services. The individual will have a key role in the client service team, responsible for the delivery of risk analytics. This will involve developing key client relationships as well as responsibility for the delivery of risk reporting to the client. The role will also involve coordinating initiatives in the areas of data governance, KPI oversight, client communication, client onboarding. Additionally emphasis will be given on supporting pre-sales & sales activities and working closely with Business Development teams in the region.

Your new role


As a Client Service Risk Specialist you will:

  • Build and manage relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide support & address both client and internal inquiries; demonstrate firm understanding of the product to end users.
  • Build and maintain relationship with key stakeholders including Business Development, Relationship Management, Product Management, Operations etc.
  • Manage various risk measures including market risk, liquidity, stress testing, back-testing and ESG.
  • Support pre-sales & sales activities by working closely with Business Development teams.
  • Work with Product teams to maintain & develop regulatory reporting solutions.
  • Plays key role in the planning & development of key client requirements.
  • Assist on specifying new functionality to provide a greater user experience for clients and internal users.
  • Support & participate on training market risk analysts and other front-line users on system's functionality.
  • Other project-based tasks as required.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Degree in Finance/Economics or related field.
  • FRM or CFA qualification an advantage.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, including experience in client facing or relationship management roles.
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong understanding of risk management techniques including VaR, Stress Testing & Exposures.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and work with all levels of seniority, cultivating trust-based relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to handle complex and sensitive issues.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and oral English with ability to tailor messaging to the audience.
  • Strong familiarity with financial products and data.
  • Familiarity with US and EU regulatory risk reporting an asset.
