We are looking for a proven sales professional to be part of the UK sales team, with the primary responsibility of generating new business for the GlobalLink suite of products: FX Connect, Fund Connect, BestX, TradeNeXus and Currenex. The role holder will have a comprehensive knowledge of the sales process including: opportunity spotting, qualifying leads, client presentations and pitches, commercial and legal frameworks, running workshops, leveraging firm wide contact points and institutional relationships, building credibility through thought leadership and market presence, and demonstrating an understanding of the client challenges and operating paradigm.

The role holder will report to the UK Head of Client Acquisition.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
As Client Acquisition Sales VP, you will:
- Generate new revenue from net new clients. This entails managing the sales process from prospecting, identifying opportunities, selling customer solutions, completing RFPs, negotiating commercials and working with Product Sales to ensure customers make it through to implementation and trading.
- Adhere to pipeline governance, ensuring that the SF360 (the CRM system) is kept up to date.
- Build a pipeline and identify key participants in the market, supporting the regional sales strategy to achieve against target, ensuring that the pipeline profile is supporting the overarching growth objectives of the GlobalLink business.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer queries are communicated effectively through the correct channels in the business, and appropriately prioritized.
- Identify trends in the market to further develop revenue opportunities and assist product management teams to ensure continuous improvements of the product suite.
- Assist the business in its future development by effectively communicating the value proposition to customers and the market, and be able to provide comprehensive product demos.
- Seeking out new, and supporting existing, third party partnerships, when required or directed to do so.
- Be a brand ambassador at conferences and industry conventions to understand market infrastructure and generate new business opportunities.
- Risk Excellence. Operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and make sure that escalation procedures are followed. Be mindful of the risk excellence culture at all times.
- Adhere to the KYC/AML process, and liaise across Product Sales and on-boarding as part of the process to onboard new clients and fund providers.

- Able to perform across multiple process in parallel with effective prioritization of tasks in a high-pressure, fast moving, environment.
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written) at all levels of an organization with both external and internal clients and service providers, a proven ability in building relationships is therefore essential.
- Ability to generate sales leads through numerous channels, but whilst demonstrating strict adherence to cross-border & jurisdictional compliance.
- Prior experience within trading solutions and/or technology sales, dealing with Banks, asset managers, Hedge funds Insurers and Corporates, experience within foreign exchange, Money Market Funds or related markets is desirable.
- Proven ability to drive new initiatives and ideas forward.
- Persistent negotiation and breakthrough ability and resolving client problems
- Fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role, with proven high ethical standard
- Knowledge of market regulations.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of technology driven financial solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the asset classes and areas GLFI focuses on as defined above.
