Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a skilled and proven Business Risk Executive, Managing Director to support leadership in the identification, assessment and mitigation of risk. They will demonstrate deep knowledge of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and improving processes and tools. Additionally, the person in this role will review processes and implement solutions to improve them. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader to produce results in a timely manner.

What you will be responsible for

  • Develop and implement process improvements to meet business goals
  • Plan and execute process improvement projects
  • Leverage re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality
  • Develop process improvement policies
  • Leverage metrics to improve process performance
  • Partner with the second line and third of defense consistent with our risk management/control objectives

  • Ability to solve complex problems with support from management
  • Able to effectively balance multiple tasks through careful prioritization
  • Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 12-15+ years proven experience with risk management, auditing standards, and best practices with 7-10 years experience as part of a leadership team
