Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) - Program Office is seeking a skilled and proven Data Analyst, Assistant Vice President to play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making through in-depth analysis, requirements gathering, and technical documentation. This hands-on role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyzing complex datasets, and building functional specifications for technical solutions.

What you will be responsible for

  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Perform hands-on data analysis to support business insights and operational improvements.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Support the design, development, and testing of technical solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration across teams and disciplines to align business requirements with system capabilities.
  • Conduct and oversee dependency mapping to support project managers in identifying and managing interdependencies.
  • Support systems and flow analysis to uncover inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Evaluate workflows and processes, contributing to streamlined operations and enhanced efficiency.
  • Develop and review process and flow diagrams to ensure accurate representation of systems and dependencies.
  • Utilize a strong understanding of financial products to inform analysis and process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability in analysis.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure seamless integration of solutions with existing systems.
