Who we are looking for

The Application Development Support Lead position for the RKS (Record Keeping System) application requires a strong developer in C++ in the Windows environment, with good knowledge of Database and SQL (Oracle preferred). This person will be a team player who focuses on resolving the issues that come up in the application and can see a task through from initial analysis to resolution and deployment of the fix. Also, this team lead will support and guide other team members in resolving tasks of their own, being a touchpoint and leader for them. Communication with other members of the team, as well as other teams within the RKS Development area will be critical to managing and resolving tasks/fixes for the application.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Application Development Support Lead, position duties include:

-Close work with Prod Support and Client Support and Configuration Management teams on incoming issues/analysis of problems.

-Take ownership of development task, i.e., see it through from development point of view from initial analysis to when fix is coded/tested/deployed.

-Independent analysis and suggest and implement coding of bug fixes found in Production/BUAT/UAT environments and test the same.

-Work with existing RKS Developers to have reviews of potential code fixes.

-Provide on the spot analysis for Production issues that occur when Prod/Client support needs it.

-Good communication skills to coordinate with all teams as mentioned above.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

-C++ Developer for Windows client application, using Visual Studio to do development.

-Good familiarity with Windows OS environment.

-Oracle DB knowledge, including SQL queries and PL/SQL coding.

-Preference to have some knowledge of Financial Market domain (Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income Mathematics, various asset classes and their characteristics, particularly with respect to market data, settlement and clearing).

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
