The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior application development manager, managing global experienced COBOL/Unix development and testing teams. This is a very exciting role in fast paced development environment to work with extremely talented groups delivering large development initiatives and managing 24/7 production support across time zones.

- Manage team of senior development and QA resources across time zones
- Ownership and accountability of applications along with upstream and downstream integrations and successful implementation large and complex projects
- Extensive domain experience in retiree services payment processing including tax domain expertise.
- Work closely with the Product Owners and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team to analyze, design, develop, test, document and implement large software deliverables.
- Manage team to develop or modifies complex software that is optimized for performance.
- Manage team to maintains and supports existing software applications.
- Identifies and resolves complex application issues and bugs.
- Must be able to analyze/translate business requirements into technical specifications and design effective technical solutions and execute projects to successful completion within budget and timeline.
- Manage team to meet or exceed pre-defined SLAs.
- Participate in client calls and projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
- 10+ years of experience managing global software development, testing and support staff.
- Experience in translating large complex business requirements into technical design and executing it to successful completion.
- Proficient in Open Systems COBOL development.
- Proficient in Unix/Linux KSH scripting; Eclipse based IDE development.
- Experience in Github and other source codes systems.
- Execute resiliency, Lifecycle and technology projects (ex: DR fail and stay, Refactor unsupported software)
- Advocate and implement best practices and improve team processes.
- Experience in requirements analysis and system design.
- Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Experience with Design Patterns, Web Services and Agile development methodologies.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.
- Must be a faster learner and multi-tasker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
