The Derivatives Hub Application Development Consultant-Officer has a background in Cleared, Over the Counter, and Listed Derivative product types working in Operations, Business Analysis, or System Analysis roles. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has over 7 years of Financial Services experience. The ideal candidate supports development across multiple locations and provides subject matter expertise to developers, testers, and business partners. The ideal candidate has both a systems background and complex derivative background. The ideal candidate has experience working in multiple roles, is proactive in gaining knowledge, and works well in team environments.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As a Derivatives Hub Application Development Consultant-Officer you will be responsible to:

  • Perform system and business analysis for complex Derivative product types includes cleared, listed, and OTC to design optimal software solutions addressing industry, client, and operational needs.
  • Support the industrial agile development process within the Derivatives Hub application teams directly as a team member in either a Scrum Master or Systems Analyst capacity.
  • Perform project management roles aiding in the delivery of software to production. Provide leadership to iAgile teams.
  • Provide Derivative subject matter expertise to support critical production issues as well as triaging issues identified in the development process.
  • Provide Derivative Hub application subject matter expertise to business users, business project resources, and to developers and testers.
  • Perform other project related activities as identified to complete deliverables, reduce risk, and improve the usability of the Derivative Hub application.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent or related field
  • Seven or more years of Financial Service experience
  • OTC, Cleared, and Listed Derivatives experience
