Be part of the Alternatives QA and CBI Reg team who are responsible for:

Completing monthly and quarterly testing of the controls in the Hedge and Private Markets (PM) Fund Accounting teams. Preparing, completing and submitting the Irish Monthly Returns (IMR) for Irish regulated funds on the Central Bank of Ireland portal. Preparation of other quarterly reporting returns.

QA Assurance Testing

  • Monthly and Quarterly testing of Checklists to ensure policies and procedures are being followed and evidenced correctly through sign off of the applicable checklists.
  • Quarterly testing of specific risk areas based off review of recent error incidents. These are more in-depth reviews.
  • Prepare monthly updates of status of the ongoing testing.
  • Participate in remediation actions on issues identified through testing, if required.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects when required by management

CBI Regulatory Reporting

  • Prepare and send out monthly request emails for all relevant funds under the IMR process.
  • Prepare and analyze IMR Returns in accordance with relevant Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) requirements for alternative investment funds (Hedge, Private Market, and Real Estate funds).
  • Ensure that all documentation used to calculate and support returns is received and is accurate. Research, resolve or escalate potential issues to your manager, as applicable.
  • Maintain and update the monthly IMR Tracker which provides the status of the reviews for all Funds.
  • Assist with the monthly reconciliation of the list of funds to the CBI online reporting portal.
  • Assist with the preparation of other quarterly reporting requirements (MMIF, SPV and FVC).
  • Assist Reg Reporting management on various ad hoc projects

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
  • Undertaking professional accounting qualifications would be an advantage.
