Who we are looking for:
China Based, Business Tester with 3+ years of experience to define and implement joint test strategies with client and stakeholders across all in scope workstreams for projects.

The Alpha strategy and implementation need strong quality control to ensure our services to client can meet their requirement on accuracy and timeliness of data and services we deliver to them. Test team is responsible for, on behalf of Alpha clients and Alpha operations, verifying the solution implemented, identifying defects and communicating to implementation team on complete fixes. The team is also expected to involve in early implementation stage and involve in business requirement understanding, workflow design, data analysis, etc for a better solution, as well as operational readiness and data conversion teams on live readiness.

What you will be responsible for:
As Business Tester you will:
- Analyze portfolio data requirements for end to end test validations, creating test data strategy for end client reporting
- Conduct testing activities against business requirements or client request
- Proactively communicate with Business team and IT team to identify issues
- Execute thorough regression testing to minimize risk of defects leaking into production environment

- Experience in implementation of large client onboardings with complex architecture, multiple teams and functionalities.
- Knowledge / Experience in Front Office OMS, Transaction processing, Middle Office Recordkeeping and IBOR is essential.
- Balance of Technical /Business & Quality Assurance
- Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
- Knowledge in standard Alpha application is a plus, such as CRIMS, RKS, GTM, OTC, ESP, ADP, etc.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably Investment Management, Asset Management
- Experience in implementation of large client onboardings with complex architecture, multiple teams and functionalities.
- Exposure to Charles River or any other front office systems is preferred
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouses and Databases including SQL
- High Level knowledge or experience in Capital markets including Middle & Back Office, Securities, Bank Loans, IBOR / ABOR, Transaction Mgmt
- Experience in initiatives / projects related to Middle & Back Office Client On boarding
