What You'll Do:

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain: Build scalable backend services and distributed systems using Java to support our cutting-edge applications.
  • Architect Solutions: Design and implement solutions that handle large volumes of data while ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Optimize Systems: Enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency by developing and optimizing distributed systems.
  • Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Identify and resolve complex technical issues in distributed environments to maintain smooth operation and minimize downtime.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct Code Reviews: Provide constructive feedback to peers and help maintain high standards of code quality across the team.

What Makes You Qualified:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.
  • Strong Java Proficiency: Expertise in object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Distributed Systems: Demonstrated experience in building large-scale applications and leveraging distributed systems.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
  • Distributed Data Frameworks: Knowledge of distributed data storage and processing frameworks like Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, or Hadoop.
  • Containerization and Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
  • Problem Solving and Attention to Detail: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Strong teamwork and communication abilities, with the capacity to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
