Job Description
What You'll Do
- Define and implement a comprehensive machine learning services strategy aligned with business goals.

- Lead and grow the machine learning services team, including recruiting, mentoring, and training top talent in ML operations and implementations.
- Oversee the evaluation and other key operations like data cleaning, data annotation, dataset quality management, vendor collaboration on machine learning lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate machine learning capabilities into product offerings, enhancing functionality and user experience.
- Establish robust ML lifecycle management practices, including model development, testing, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Drive innovation in ML techniques and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
- Ensure adherence to ethical AI principles and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Develop and manage the department's budget, optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaborations with various teams like software development, product management, and operations teams.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on the team's progress and the impact of machine learning initiatives to executive leadership.
- Manage and implement customer expectations around the ML models.
What Makes You Qualified
- MBA or PMP or similar certifications or equivalent, bachelor's in computer science or data science is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective machine learning operations at scale.
- Deep understanding of MLOps and modern machine learning technologies and how to use them
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of technical professionals.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex technical details and influencing senior stakeholders.
